Riyadh — Mubasher: Saudi Telecom Company (stc) has launched colab, its innovation and corporate venture-building arm, at LEAP 2026, according to a press release.

The new model aims to identify, develop, and scale new digital ventures, leveraging the group’s market reach and digital infrastructure.

It will unlock new sources of growth through innovation to expand stc’s venture ecosystem by complementing InspireU, which focuses on startup acceleration, and tali ventures, the group’s strategic venture investment arm.

Motaz Alangari, stc group Chief Investment Officer (GCIO), said: “This integrated model enables us not only to invest in innovation, but to systematically create and scale new businesses.”

He added: “stc’s launch of colab reflects the group’s commitment to shaping the next phase of the Kingdom’s ambition, building sustainable growth engines and partnering with founders and strategic players to widen the region’s innovation pipeline.”

In June, stc extended its memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Future Artificial Intelligence Company (HUMAIN) regarding the establishment of a new joint venture (JV).
